The Amigo X has jimping above the finger hold and more jimping on the spine of the blade, which allows for fine control of the blade with either one hand or two hands, one hand for slicing or two hands for whittling
The knife has a pronounced finger choil and handle has grooves for the middle finger to sit comfortably while gripping
The Amigo is truly ambidextrous so it suits left handed and right handed persons.
If the handle is too short for your hand you can easily add the lanyard to support your small finger
The knife is great for slicing, although it is a fairly compact fixed blade knife it is surprisingly versatile
The blade is made of Japanese AUS8 rust resistant steel. (0.75% Carbon, 58-59 HRC) with a high durability finish
AUS-8 holds the edge very well, offers a good balance of toughness, edge sharpness and corrosion resistance
The blade is full fled ground and comes with a secondary bevel
Sheath comes with a nylon cord and is made from G10, on the outside there is a layer of red and a layer of black G10. The spacers are made from black G10, the sheath also incorporates a drainage hole
The Amigo X securely snaps into place inside the sheath, and is held securely until you remove it
The front ramp on the sheath has jimping and is used when releasing the knife from the sheath, using your thumb the knife immediately pops out of the sheath
