Kizlyar NSK3 Walnut Folding Knife

The NSK-3 is a full size folding knife with a wider blade and a deep belly, better suited to hunting tasks than kizlyars smaller folders. A great all round pocket knife that can be used for a variety of tasks.

The steel used in the knife is Russian high carbon rust resistant steel 65X13, which is heat treated and hardened to a fairly mild 57-59 HRC. This allows the steel to keep a good edge, but at the same time be easy to sharpen. 

Please note that this is a traditional type folding knife with a simple tension lock mechanism to hold the blade in place. This type of lock is good for all cutting tasks but care should be taken when applying pressure to the point as the blade can spring closed.
